Prof. Dr. R. Rajakrishnan, has wide experience in the public and private academic arena, having served as an academic staff in a premier public university, University of Malaya, for 25 years and thereafter as the Founding Registrar of AIMST University for about 7 years. His appointment since April 2007 was that of Pro Vice-Chancellor and Registrar of the then established private university, Quest International University, in the state of Perak, where he served until October 2013. He then established a private educational enterprise, Praxis International College, in Ipoh, Perak. Currently rebranded as NeuMatrix Professional Academy, and endowed with new objectives, vision and values, the institution is spearheaded by Prof. Dr. R. Rajakrishnan as its Provost and Chief Executive.

At the outset, let me emphasise the fact that, at NeuMatrix, we have embarked on a mission not only to introduce students to the frontiers of knowledge and provide them with skills to contribute fully to whatever career path they will follow eventually, but also offer them a wide range of experiences that will enrich their learning and make their study relevant and rewarding. A holistic education is what they will receive and experience so that students value their time at NeuMatrix.
We shall instil in our students that higher education should not only be viewed as a tool to gain an academic, professional or skills qualification, but it must also be driven by an element of curiosity and wanting to make a difference. While, on one hand, we shall provide avenues for students to learn and explore, we shall, at the same time, impart and inculcate in them, during their sojourn at NeuMatrix, essential living skills, language skills, research skills, practical skills and the notion of service to the community and nation.
You can rest assured that at NeuMatrix we embrace, practice, and impart the very essence of the meaning of “Designing Pathways, Drafting Destinies” i.e. to transform our ideas, plans, strategies, objectives, desires and ambitions into meaningful actions. At NeuMatrix, we shall pursue a practical approach in all our endeavours, be it teaching, learning or interaction. The different educational pathways that we provide to different segments of the community are testimony of our stated approach.
